Palestine Lives: Sumoud, Survival & Solidarity During Genocide

w/ Dr. Nour Joudah, Assistant Professor of Asian American Studies at UCLA

This talk about the ongoing Nakba across historic Palestine and the multi-generational survival at the heart of the Palestinian experience. Despite a recent focus on death and destruction, Palestinians continue to redefine survival through the concept of sumoud (steadfastness). Prof. Joudah will underscore the importance of centering the resilience in U.S. solidarity organizing, especially on university campuses. Event is in-person and on Zoom.
