On March 3, 4:00-6:45PM, we are hosting a virtual event with Dr. Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz, whose An Indigenous Peoples’ History of the United States () is the basis of Raoul Peck’s HBO docudrama “Exterminate All Brutes.” We will be screening the first episode of “Exterminate All Brutes” at the event (). Please consider building this event into your courses, especially if you address issues of settler colonialism in them. Dr. Dunbar-Ortiz will also speak about their newly published Not ‘A Nation of Immigrants’: Settler Colonialism, White Supremacy, and a History of Erasure and Exclusion: ().
