Policy Manual & Training Documents

In compliance with Senate Bill 978 (January 1, 2020) requiring law enforcement agencies to post our policies, procedures, and training materials conspicuously on our website that would otherwise be available to the public if a public information request was made pursuant to the California Public Records Act.

CSU law enforcement policies are developed and maintained through Lexipol, a comprehensive policy management platform grounded in constitutional law and nationally recognized best practices. Widely adopted by law enforcement agencies throughout California, Lexipol supports the CSU in ensuring its policies are current, legally compliant, and operationally effective.

To promote transparency and accountability, all publicly accessible CSU law enforcement policies are made available online. These policies undergo regular review and are updated as needed to reflect changes in state and federal laws, as well as evolving professional standards in policing.
