How to Add & Swap Classes (Week 2-4)

After the first week of classes, you will need to obtain a permission number from the professor of the class you are trying to add.

A permission number is a 6-digit number given by the professor that is essentially the instructor’s consent that you may add their class late.

  • If the class is in person, you can show up at the scheduled time of the class and speak to the professor before or after class and ask if they are still able to add you to the class. If they say yes, they will need to give you a permission number.
  • If the class is online, you will need to email the professor from your Â鶹AV Gmail and ask them if they are able to give you a permission number to add their class. Make sure to include the class # of the class you are trying to add, as they may teach multiple classes.
  • If you get the permission number, come back to the Hub for drop-ins either in person or online and an Academic Advisor will assist you with adding/swapping a class with the permission number.
